Objectives

The practical component developed in person at the Starskids English school focused on the following:

• Develop necessary competencies and skills as teachers in training and part of the actors in the educational process. 

• Recognize the different teaching methodologies that are implemented in the classroom as well as identify their advantages and disadvantages compared to the needs of the students and their context. 

• To raise awareness of the learning needs of today's students and the recognition of the different methodologies that can be combined, the traditional and the innovative can work hand in hand

• Identify possible problems that may occur in classrooms, in order to provide treatment to them.

• Design learning strategies that can counteract or reinforce the shortcomings that students present in their learning process.

• Present a research proposal that allows for the analysis of a problem or situation that arises in the educational field; create an action plan, evaluation, and reflection of the strategies that can be implemented, to demonstrate positive and transformative changes in students and correspondence with the Institutional Educational Project.
