Proposal

Based on the theoretical component of the methodology course in foreign language teaching, two proposals were developed regarding the design of material and participant observation of practices in phase 2 and phase 3.

The topics addressed were the following:

Is it possible that teachers can use more than one method in teaching English?
What is the importance of using alternative methods in the English teaching process?

The previous questions were those that guided the observation and on which the respective analysis was carried out, taking into account the following aspects:

Observation context
Communication with the population group
Description of the initial, intermediate and final moment of the observed class.
Use of teaching material for the development of the session
Interpretation
Qualities, skills, attitudes, competencies, paradigms, mental models, judgments, emotions, and beliefs that occur in the session
How the processes influence the academic, personal, and professional relationships that occur in the educational field of the teacher in training
Aspects in which you, as a teacher in training, consider that can be improved in the observed session

At the same time, the design of two teaching materials was carried out. It was possible to choose to design an activity using virtual tools, but precisely through the observation of classes; It was identified that manual material could be more attractive, that is: Return to the traditional. And the results were as expected. The students automatically wanted to use the material, it caused them interest, it captured their attention. With this we can buy that in addition to technology we can do traditional activities.
